GNC-422 series rosin modified maleic resin is the slight yellow transparent solid, which is adducts of gum rosin and maleic anhydride through the esterification by glycerol or pentaerythritol, is designed for nitrocellulose compatibility. It is useful in formulating pale lacquers for wood finishing, lacquer sealers, and C type gravure printing inks that contain toluene.

     GNC Meleic Resin is used in paint and coating industries widely, for production of phenolic paints (through polymerization with platoils); improve hardness of paint films, gloss and rubbing property for Polyesters, Nitro and PU paints.

It is special for making the traffic paint, which have good resistance to crushing, resistance to crocking, abrasion resistance, appropriate levelling and fast dry. It is also has good resistance to yellowing and ageing resistance. Good adhesion, it is used as a binder especially for road making paints.
